As a daily espresso drinker and an avid coffee machine reviewer, I’ve gone through my fair share of coffee machines, some fantastic, others not so much.
Recently, I’ve come across the Divonocaffe espresso maker.
As a big fan of the ease-of-use of espresso makers, I was excited to try this one out and make a Divinocaffe espresso maker review.
So, after a few weeks of use, here’s my honest take.
My Rating
The Look of The Machine
The machine looks quite appealing. It is a small, sleek, black machine, which could be at home in any kitchen in my opinion.
I loved it in my kitchen, and it blended in with all my other kitchen equipment seamlessly. The top has a stainless steel finish, which I really liked.
However, it probably won’t win any awards for it being a unique and beautiful machine. But, if you don’t care too much about that, then you should love this machine.
I live in a small apartment, and this machine is a lifesaver when it comes to counter space. It fits neatly between my toaster and microwave without feeling cramped.
The 21 oz. water tank is more than enough for a few cups before needing a refill, and the removable design makes it super easy to clean.
Great Quality Coffee
With a 19-bar pressure system and a powerful 1450W boiler, the espresso this machine produces is quite good, I must say.
The crema is thick and velvety, just how I like it. I also appreciate the choice between espresso and lungo modes, depending on my mood or the coffee blend I’m using.
All in all, for a capsule machine, this one produced quite good espresso machine which I enjoyed massively.
Also, due to the capsule coffee functionality, making coffee was incredibly quick. This is a massive benefit to those who have to go to work early in the morning and want a quick espresso boost to their day.
Great Versatility
What won me over initially was the fact that this machine works with Nespresso capsules, Lavazza Blue capsules, and ground coffee.
It’s rare to find one machine that accommodates all three without sacrificing quality, and I love the flexibility.
Whether I’m rushing in the morning with a capsule or want to take my time with fresh grounds on the weekend, this machine handles both with ease.
The Frother
If you’re into lattes or cappuccinos, you’ll need a separate milk frother.
It’s not a deal-breaker for me, but it would have been a nice touch considering how well it does with espresso and the fact that most people love lattes and cappuccinos.
I ended up buying a standalone frother, which works fine. However, it’s one more thing on the counter, so it’s not great if you don’t have much space.
Slight Learning Curve with the Ground Coffee
Using capsules is foolproof and incredibly easy, but when using ground coffee, it took a few tries to get the grind size and tamping pressure just right.
Once dialed in, though, the flavor was fantastic. If you’re new to espresso, expect a little trial and error.
Cleaning the Machine
Cleaning the machine was quite easy.
As it is a small machine, it didn’t take me long to clean, and I could descale it quite quickly in 5 steps, making this a great machine for those (like me) who don’t like cleaning.

I must say, this was a great machine. If you want good quality espresso quickly, you really can’t go wrong with this machine.
However, if you are a big latte and cappuccino fan, you will need to get a milk frother, as this one doesn’t provide this functionality.
